Launched in 1996, eMedicine.com comprises the largest Clinical Knowledge Base available to physicians and other healthcare professionals. Nearly 10,000 physician authors and editors contribute to the eMedicine Clinical Knowledge Base, which contains articles on 7,000 diseases and disorders. The evidence-based content, updated regularly, provides the latest practice guidelines in 59 medical specialties including psychiatry and neurology. Brain Explorer - Lundbeck Institute
A rich collection of information and explanations of brain structure and function including brain disorders. There are numerous diagrams, slides and video, most of which can be downloaded for use in your own slides. The site is available in English, French, German and Spanish.
Neuroscience Lectures for 1st year medical students - University of Florida
An excellent collection of visual aids from 50 lectures in Powerpoint or pdf format covering the basics of the structure and function of the nervous system.
Drug Abuse and Addiction - National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)
NIDA proposes 5 slide teaching packages on subjects connected to drug abuse and addiction. Extensive notes and explanations enable anyone with a neuroscience background to give the lecture. Each lecture can be downloaded as a powerpoint presentation in a zip compressed format.
Alcohol and Alcohol Use Disorders - Alcohol Medical Scholars Program
Over 40 lectures on all aspects of alcohol and alcohol use disorders including diagnosis, treatment, biological topics and special populations. Both notes and powerpoint files can be downloaded.
